Topic: Numbness |
The nerves to the feet and hands travel a long distance from the brain. At any focal point they can be harmed or they can be simply worn down slightly they whole length. This is often what happens in diabetics where the high blood sugar levels harm the fiber slightly over the whole length to end up with numb feet. All nerves are highly dependant on oxygen and they follow along arterial path ways. What is being discovered is that a reduction in blood flow often happens before the nerve damage and numbness. Most diabetics have circulation issues that might be either low or high blood pressure. Most blood pressure medicines are drugs that modify our calcium because it will constrict arteries and produce high blood pressure. New studies are finding that even the numbness associated with MS (multiple-slerosis) is related to poor circulation. The events leading up to numbness often start with a calcium overload. This happens with any traumma such as a car accident or excessive stress where the body becomes alerted to an impending assult. Every traumma to a tissue cascades calcium through the tissue hurt. Even overdoing exercise can cause truamma and a calcium release. This calcium constricts blood and sometimes we have extra sore muscles. Part of this is that the calcium constricts the arteries, the muscles sure look pumped up but the circulation is compromised and we really hurt in the days ahead. Some of this calcium imbeds in the arterial walls and our veins begin to stick out and become more visible through the skin. Circulation to the nerves is most of the problem and the arteries are fixed to muscles. It is a good idea to NOT stretch muscles when they are cold. You should ONLY stretch after you exercise that muscle. One thing that I like is the Bikram Hot Yoga where circulation and tissue warming is done before the stretch. The recent news is that vitamin K helps with decalcifying arteries. It is absorbed only from a fat or protein molecule so take one K with each dose of salmon oil. The K1, K2 hype is just that, a lot of hot air, buy what ever you can find and there is no over dose possible. The salmon oil will help in about a week but the vitamin K can take three weeks. Adding MSM to the mix with each meal will allow your body to rebuild better arteries and veins. Find one in capsule not table as the tablets are modified in the pressing and not usable. Do not take glucosamine, calcium or vitamin D. If you need I can send attachments but they will all appear on our web site soon. The calcium causing heart attacks 30% more often is attached.
This is not intended to make any claim nor is it intended to be a diagnosis. It is my opinion. -- Bryon ( 0 Votes On This Page ) |
